Raju Bista protests collapse of education system in West Bengal

PRASHANT ACHARYA, EOI, SILIGURI, MARCH 16, 2023: Raju Bista, Member of Parliament, Darjeeling and National Spokesperson, BJP joined his fellow Members of Parliament from West Bengal to register their protest held in front of the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in the lawns of Parliament on Thursday against the “complete collapse” of the education system in the state. 
“This sorry situation has been precipitated by the massive ‘Teachers’ Recruitment Ghotala undertaken by Trinamool Congress leaders, which
is now being exposed layer by layer by Central agencies,” he said. 
In Darjeeling District, the CBI has arrested Vice-Chancellor of North Bengal University Subires Bhattacharyya.
“Such is the condition in NBU today, that students living in the hostel have been told they won't get food, as there is no one to sign the finance bill,” Bista said in his statement.
